The figure-8 drop indoor cable for access network features an optical communication unit positioned at its center, with two parallel non-metallic strength members (FRP) placed on either side. A black low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) sheath is extruded around these components. Subsequently, a water-blocking tape is wrapped around the assembly, followed by the extrusion of a PE (polyethylene) sheath to form the complete cable.
