The GYDTY optical cable structure involves encapsulating fiber ribbons into loose tubes made of high-modulus material, which are filled with waterproof compound. The core center consists of a metallic strength member, and for certain fiber counts, an additional polyethylene (PE) layer is extruded over this member. The loose tubes (and filler rods) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact circular cable core, with any interstices filled with water-blocking material. A longitudinally applied double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) is then applied before an outer polyethylene (PE) sheath is extruded to complete the cable.
Purchase link1. Excellent mechanical and temperature characteristics
2. The loose tube material offers strong hydrolysis resistance and high strength
3. Filled with special-grade grease, providing critical protection for the fibers
4. The PE sheath delivers outstanding UV radiation resistance
5. Flexible application with 4, 6, 8, or 12-fiber ribbons from Leafei Optoelectronics
6. The following measures ensure optimal waterproof performance of the cable:
? Single wire central strength member
? Special waterproof compound filling in loose tubes
? Complete cable core filling
? Double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) moisture barrier
? Effective water-blocking materials prevent longitudinal water penetration
