he structure of GYTA cable involves inserting fiber ribbons into loose tubes made of high-modulus material. The loose tubes are filled with a waterproof compound. The core''''s center is a metallic strength member. For certain fiber counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over this metallic member. The loose tubes (and filler rods) are stranded around the central strength member into a compact circular core. Interstices within the core are filled with a water-blocking material. A longitudinally applied plastic coated aluminum tape (APL) is applied before a polyethylene (PE) jacket is extruded to form the complete cable.
Purchase linkExcellent mechanical and temperature characteristics.
The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength.
Filled with special thixotropic jelly, providing critical protection for the optical fibers.
The PE jacket offers excellent UV radiation resistance.
The following measures are adopted to ensure the cable''''s water resistance:
Single wire central strength member.
Loose tubes filled with special waterproof compound.
Complete cable core filling.
Plastic coated aluminum tape (APL) moisture barrier.
Effective water-blocking materials prevent longitudinal water seepage.
