GDTA53

The GDTA53 optical-electrical composite cable structure is constructed as follows: Single-mode or multimode fibers are placed into loose tubes made of high-modulus polyester material, with the tubes filled with waterproof compound. The core''''s center is a metallic strength member, which for certain fiber counts is additionally coated with an extruded layer of polyethylene. The loose tubes and insulated copper conductors of required specifications are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact circular core, with interstices filled with water-blocking material. A plastic-coated aluminum tape is longitudinally applied before extruding an inner polyethylene sheath. Subsequently, a corrugated double-sided chrome-plated plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, followed by extrusion of an outer polyethylene jacket to complete the cable.
